The movie theater rabbit hole in Growing Together was wonderful… except for the inability to access those movies anywhere besides that one lot in San Sequoia. So I fixed that by creating two items: one is the movie theater marquee extracted from the movie theater building and the other is a movie poster.

Both the poster and marquee function the exact same as the movie theater in San Sequoia with the ability to place on any lot and remain functional!

Let’s talk movie poster first. It matches all the existing movie theater posters so you can seamlessly integrate it into your theater vibes. It looks good on its own or you can stack vertically for a double tall, very extra movie poster.

The marquee sign functions the same as the movie poster by allowing your sims to catch a movie on any lot. It is illuminated at night and the lights have a scrolling effect as well as a changing color bar along the vertical part of the sign. (This took me forever to get right, I hope you enjoy how it looks!)

Note:

• The *one* caveat is that your sim will go to the front of the lot near a road when they “attend” a movie. I did this because the alternative was rewriting a significant amount of code to just reroute the sim. I thought stability through patches and updates was more important than having the sim walk to the object.
• If you don’t have the Growing Together EP, you can still use the objects as decor but you won’t be able to attend the movies.
